Supporting experiences of transition, identity and belonging

Moving countries, roles or communities can affect emotional wellbeing in ways that are difficult to describe. You don’t need to be artistic to benefit from therapy

Creative Arts Therapy supports emotional expression through conversation, visual arts, movement, metaphors and reflection.

This approach can support challenging experiences such as:

  • Stress, anxiety and life transitions
  • Navigating multiple cultures
  • Identity and belonging
  • Adjusting to life in Australia
  • Homesickness and grief
  • Emotional expression beyond words

Support available in Spanish & English

Ways to Work Together

Individual Therapy

For children, adolescents and adults.

Support for life transitions, identity, anxiety, stress and emotional regulation.

Workshops & Groups

Creative and embodied experiences for schools, communities and organisations.

Therapeutic and non-therapeutic approaches.

Migrants & Multicultural Communities

Culturally responsive programs tailored to groups’ needs and contexts.

What is Creative Arts Therapy?

Creative Arts Therapy integrates talk-based interventions with embodied and creative processes to support emotional awareness, expression and growth.

No artistic experience is needed.

Many people find that  creativity helps access experiences that are difficult to explain verbally.

My Values

Authenticity

Supporting uniqueness and difference as essential elements rather than fixing it.

Creativity & Embodiment

Pillars for the exploration and expression beyond words.

Collaboration

The therapeutic process is shaped around your goals.

Acknowledgement to Country

I would like to acknowledge the Original and Traditional carers of the lands we are on, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, by the Birraung River.

I would like to pay respect to their elders, past, present and emerging, as well as to their children, families and kinship, who have been affected by the effects of colonisation.

It is essential to note that we are on stolen lands and sovereignty has not been ceded. We are privileged to live and practice on these lands. May our words and actions honour, respect, contribute, amplify, compensate and reconcile with their songlines and the ones that carry them.
