I’m Diego, the human moving the strings

Diego Fajardo Alba

Psicoterapeuta Artístico-Creativo

Creative Arts Therapist, Performing Artist, Migrant…

Many hats, many roles. Throughout my professional journey, I have had the opportunity to step into different roles.

This is why I value creating spaces that honour each person’s context, identity and ways of making meaning. Curiosity, collaboration and authenticity lead the way towards exploration, healing and growth.

As a migrant, I bring a culturally sensitive lens, cultivating a deep understanding of the tensions that emerge in life transitions and navigating questions about identity, belonging, personal patterns, and social dynamics, to name a few.

My Approach

My approach is collaborative, creative and body-aware. We work together towards your goals and navigate the process on the same boat. Moreover, I believe that creativity is accessible for everyone and finding new pathways even in daily life is a sign of it. Lastly, be body-aware because coming back to the body enables us to connect with our present and pay attention to what is possible to transform.

I see therapy as an opportunity to create space to explore, in depth, matters and concerns that impact us. It is an exploratory field for being curious and compassionate, moving toward meaningful changes that align more with who you are or want to be.

It’s important to find a therapist that’s a good fit. Let’s chat!

Whether you want to know about how arts therapy works, my approach, or ways to work together, a discovery call is the best way to begin and clear up some questions.

Outside the Therapy Room

As a curious person, I enjoy reading books and discovering others’ thoughts and universes through their words.

The theatre is also a space for connecting with myself and others through the magic of transformation.

In nature, being in touch with the more-than-human world energises me while also is inspiring and surprising.
